The Village Hall – Barn in Norfolk
Newly refurbished in 2019, The Village Hall is a beautiful large holiday cottage that is dog friendly. Sleeping up to 16 people, with access to a shared outdoor swimming pool (open from April to September), the Village Hall is ideal for family group holidays with a vibrant history as a hub for village gatherings and celebrations.
The Village Hall is set on the grounds of a beautiful stately Georgian Manor Estate with a private boating lake and woodlands. Comfortably sleeping up to 6 or up to 16 with additional accommodation, the holiday cottage is ideal for families and groups wanting space and comfort. The ‘old Village Hall’ is the main living and dining space with beautiful log burners. There are patio doors onto your garden, and from April to September, you can enjoy our shared outdoor swimming pool. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a large electric hob and oven, and is a delight to cook any family meals in. There are three double en-suite bedrooms beautifully furnished.
The Village Hall is very well equipped, having been refurbished recently, and has all the facilities you’d expect to find to make your barn retreat very comfortable. Fully central heated with a constant supply of hot water, double glazed, making it nice and cosy- just pack a bag and arrive is our policy!
There is also outdoor seating for dining and relaxing together and a BBQ.
West Lexham is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a sustainable barn retreat in the 21 acres of facilities, gorgeous manor gardens, tennis court and a great location to explore beautiful Norfolk.
With the bright lights of Norwich and Kings Lynn within easy reach and the atmospheric ruins and delicious pub lunch opportunities of Castle Acre just a mile away, there’s plenty to discover once you’re settled in… Enjoy the privacy and peace of a country manor retreat and explore hidden wonders when you stay in a barn in Norfolk.
If you did need additional accommodation for your group holiday, our Arch Bedrooms are just next door which offers an additional four bedrooms meaning you can sleep up to 16 guests in total across the two properties. There are three double/twin bed bedrooms and one larger family bedroom sleeping up to four. Two bedrooms are fully en-suite, whilst the other two have a wash basin and a shared main bathroom space.
