Both a rural regeneration project and one of human regeneration – our home is an experiment in aligning who we really are with how we live, day by day.


Follow the meandering paths beyond the garden, along the river into the wild water meadows and woods, to the hidden Oriental Garden. Or hike further afield up the Peddar’s Way to the Sea.


If wild swimming in the fresh water lake is not your thing, then we do have a renewably heated swimming pool available for all our guests from May to October.


Have a row along the lake and spot our finest ancient trees along the way. Spot herons, swans, ducks and even otters on the way.

West Lexham is designed to nurture connection. We don’t just offer perfect events rooms, we offer fire circles, garden gathering spaces and games for groups large and small. And all the help you need to create the perfect event.


Local, seasonal, organic and healthy are what it’s all about. We are starting a new two acre kitchen garden to grow our own fruit and vegetables so watch this space. In the meantime, we are a self-catering venue with trusted local caterers available for events. You can even try your hand at the wood-fired pizza oven in the Garden Kitchen’


Unwind in the nourishing embrace of nature. Our enchanting gardens, lakes and meadows are yours to explore, with many secluded spots to read a book, enjoy a sunny snooze or simply do… nothing.

We will soon be adding a wellness spa, hot tub and steam room for ultimate relaxation.
