  • Bell Tents
  • Is bed linen provided?  

    Yes, all bed linen is provided. Please feel free to bring extra blankets during the colder months if you would like to. Hot water bottles are provided.

  • Are towels provided? 

    We provide 1 towel per person to be used in the garden washhouse. If you are going to be wild swimming or heading to the beach please bring extra towels.

  • Are there laundry facilities on site? 

    There are no laundry facilities on site.

  • What washing facilities are available? 

    The garden washhouse is a communal facility – there are 5 individual bathrooms (one with a bath) that are shared between glamping properties. The garden washhouse is approximately 50 metres from the bell tents There are no power outlets in the garden washhouse for hair dryers.

  • What catering facilities are provided? 

    Our cafe is now open. Our opening times can vary due to having a very small team at the minute, and we advise you to check with us on your arrival.

    When the Garden Kitchen Cafe is closed, we will put a communal outdoor kitchen in place which will include utensils, plates and cutlery, BBQ, induction hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.

  • Can I purchase alcohol on site?  

    No alcohol is available for purchase on site. However, if this is consumed in a responsible manner, we permit guests to bring their own. Please note, anything consumed in the restaurant will require a small corkage charge.

  • Where can I store baby food and chilled essentials? 

    There will be a cool box available in each tent and you will have access to a small outdoor fridge near the Garden Café for anything essential. Please enquire prior to your stay if you need access to fridge space.

  • Is there power provided in the tents? 

    No but there will be power sockets available to use in the Garden Café.

  • Is seating provided in the tents? 

    No, unfortunately not. However, the Garden Café will have seating throughout the day and there are various seating areas throughout the site.

  • What else do I need to know?
    • There is low level sensor lighting along the paths that guide your way to the wash house at night.
    • Some Bell Tents are near open water and so supervision will be required with young children.
    • We do not have a lifeguard on site and you will be responsible for yourselves and other members of your party.
    • Logs and kindling are provided for the fire pits. Fire is strictly allocated to the fire pits, you must not light a fire elsewhere.
    • There is no power in the tents, there are however fairy lights inside the tents and a torch.
    • We only allow guests who have booked with us to be onsite for security and safety purposes. Please do not invite unregistered guests to your stay.
    • Our bell tents are part of a wider holiday retreat space, we therefore ask that you respect other guests stays and be conscious to not create noise disturbance.

    Bevy, Butterbur and Bask Cabins have en-suite facilities available. The garden washhouse is a communal facility – there are 5 individual bathrooms (one with a bath) that are shared between glamping properties. The shared wash house utilised is by Gaggle and Roost cabins and is no further than 50 metres away from any cabin. There is low-level sensor lighting along the paths that guide your way to the washhouse at night.

  • What catering facilities are provided?

    Our cafe is now open. Our opening times can vary due to having a very small team at the minute, and we advise you to check with us on your arrival.

    When the Garden Kitchen Cafe is closed, we will put a communal outdoor kitchen in place which will include utensils, plates and cutlery, BBQ, induction hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.

  • Can I purchase alcohol on site?

    • We only allow guests who have booked with us to be onsite for security and safety purposes. Please do not invite unregistered guests to your stay.
    • We do not have a lifeguard on site and you will be responsible for yourselves and other members of your party.

  • Tree Houses

    There are no laundry facilities on site.

  • What washing facilities are available?  

    The garden washhouse is a communal facility – there are 5 individual bathrooms (one with a bath) that are shared between glamping properties. The shared wash house utilised is by Sunrise and Tinker Tree House and is no further than 40 meters away from any tree house. There is low level sensor lighting along the paths that guide your way to the wash house at night. All other tree houses have ensuite facilities.

  • What catering facilities are provided?  

    Our cafe is now open. Our opening times can vary due to having a very small team at the minute, and we advise you to check with us on your arrival.

    When the Garden Kitchen Cafe is closed, we will put a communal outdoor kitchen in place which will include utensils, plates and cutlery, BBQ, induction hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.

    Each Treehouse has different levels of self catering facilities. We suggest you check on each property page for these.

  • Can I purchase alcohol on site?  

    No alcohol is available for purchase on site. However, if this is consumed in a responsible manner, we permit guests to bring their own. Please note, anything consumed in the restaurant will require a small corkage charge.

  • Where can I store baby food and chilled essentials? 

    All tree houses have access to a fridge apart from Owl Tree Temple and Tinker Tree House. Cool boxes will be available in each tree house if requested. There is a small communal fridge available at the Garden Cafe.

  • Is there power provided in the Tree Houses?  

    Yes, all tree houses have power. Tinker Tree House only has enough power for an electric heater and to charge your phone.

  • Do the Tree Houses have central heating?

    All treehouses have central heating apart from Tinker Tree House. Tinker is only open from February to November however, all tree houses have a wood burner.

  • Is seating provided in the tree houses?   

    Yes, each tree house has internal seating and an external picnic bench.

  • What else do I need to know?
    • Curtains are not provided in the tree houses to encourage you to reconnect with nature.
    • Curtains are provided in our tree temples.
    • Logs and kindling are provided for the fire pits. Fire is strictly allocated to the fire pits, you must not light a fire elsewhere.
    • We only allow guests who have booked with us to be onsite for security and safety purposes. Please do not invite unregistered guests to your stay.

  • The Barn Ensuites ….

    All bedrooms are accessed by the Barn externally. All beds can be together as super king or separate as twins upon your request. All bedrooms have en-suite with walk in shower except three which have a bath/shower. All bedrooms have power and central heating.

  • What catering facilities are provided?  

    The barn has its own kitchen and dining room, however we are a fully catered site. This can be discussed with the team at time of booking.

  • Can I purchase alcohol on site?

    No alcohol is available for purchase on site. However, if this is consumed in a responsible manner, we permit guests to bring their own. Please note, anything consumed in the restaurant will require a small corkage charge.

  • What else do I need to know?
    • The barn is part of a larger holiday retreat space accommodating up to 22 guests
    • There is private lawn garden furniture, a large table and benches.
    • West Lexham’s HQ is located within and above the Barn. We share the toilet facilities.
    • We do not have a lifeguard on site and you will be responsible for yourselves and other members of your party.
    • Logs and kindling are provided for the fire pits. Fire is strictly allocated to the fire pits, you must not light a fire elsewhere.
    • We only allow guests who have booked with us to be onsite for security and safety purposes. Please do not invite unregistered guests to your stay.
  • Village Hall and Cottages

    Yes, all bed linen is provided. Please feel free to bring extra blankets during the colder months if you would like to. Hot water bottles are provided.

    We provide 1 towel per person to be used. If you are going to be wild swimming or heading to the beach, please do bring your own.

  • Are there laundry facilities on site?  

    There are no laundry facilities on site.

  • The Village Hall Cottages…

    There are three En-suite rooms connected to the main space, with 4 bedrooms in a separate cottage. All cottages can be made up as a double or twin room upon request. All rooms have power and central heating.

  • What catering facilities are provided?  

    The village hall has  its own kitchen, however we are a fully catered site. This can be discussed with the team at time of booking.

  • Can I purchase alcohol on site?  

    No alcohol is available for purchase on site. However, if this is consumed in a responsible manner, we permit guests to bring their own. Please note, anything consumed in the restaurant will require a small corkage charge.

  • What else do I need to know?
    • The village hall is part of a larger holiday retreat space accommodating up to 16 guests.
    • There is outdoor seating for dining and relaxing together.
    • Logs and kindling are provided for the fire pits. Fire is strictly allocated to the fire pits, you must not light a fire elsewhere.
    • We only allow guests who have booked with us to be onsite for security and safety purposes. Please do not invite unregistered guests to your stay.
