Follow the meandering paths beyond the garden, along the river into the wild water meadows and woods, to the hidden Oriental Garden, or hike further afield up the Peddar’s Way to the Sea.

Take a dip in our beautiful lakes, or if natural swimming in the freshwater lake is not your thing, then we have a renewably heated swimming pool available for all our guests from May to October.
BOAT
Have a row along the glorious lake and spot our finest ancient trees on your journey. Spot herons, swans, ducks and even otters on the way.
