About Mara
Mara, originally from Italy, lives and teaches yoga in London. She trained with Sampoorna Yoga in India two years ago and she’s been teaching across London since then. She discovered yoga in a moment where she felt lost and deeply insecure and this practice helped to change her life around, bringing more love, kindness and compassion in her life.
Mara’s teaching style is challenging but always encouraging to find what feels good for your body in that moment, therefore adjusting and modifying for your needs. She spurs you to explore your body, bringing a new awareness to your whole self.
About the retreat
There’s going to be yoga classes (vinyasa, mandala, yin and a themed workshop), guided meditations, incredible plant-based food & mindful activities to nourish your mind as well as your body, like grounding walks in nature and learning (or getting more inspiration for) your journaling practice.
What we want you to take away with this retreat is a refreshed sense of self love and self empowerment. We will welcome spring with renewed energy and look for inspiration to build new simple daily healthy habits, both on and off the mat.
We will lodge in the gorgeous West Lexham Manor, in Norfolk, a sanctuary of calm, immersed in nature. They pride themselves to be a sustainable and organic venue, which we couldn’t be more happy to support and experience it with you!
West Lexham is a place for contemplation, appreciation and transformation for any who seeks it and it felt straight away very fit to what we want to offer you and for you to experience!
There are 10 luxury ensuite rooms (beds can be singles to make a twin room or if you’re coming with a friend or a partner can be made as super kings, and there are two triple rooms), a cosy lounge with 2 log stoves where we can warm up and spend some free time, a large, sunny dining area, a private garden with fire bowl and a bright and spacious yoga shala where we will be practicing.
