West Lexham is a venue in rural Norfolk – it really is the most perfect antidote to wellness, nourishment, inspiration, relaxation, freedom and profound healing from the inside out.

This retreat centre is an absolute haven, here you will experience breath-taking views, acres of floating water meadows, ancient trees, lakes and formal gardens for you to explore at your leisure. These surroundings invite space and reflection, you will easily be encouraged to let go of your daily life and deeply connect back to nature and the feeling of yourself and perhaps you will feel empowered to make new personal intentions.

Our gorgeous venue is formed of luxury en-suite bedrooms built around a central courtyard, in an expanse of countryside. These old barns have been converted maintaining the original beams, lime and flint walls and the design has been modelled on big open spaces offering a blend of both traditional and contemporary. Handmade furniture and under-floor heating in the bedrooms and yoga studio are fired by the biomass boiler burning local, environmentally-managed wood chip. Roof-top solar panels ensure the whole site is run almost 100% on renewable energy.

Friday 27th March

4 pm – Arrival, snacks and drinks. You will be shown to your room and have a chance to unwind and unpack

5.30 – 7 pm – restorative evening yoga practice

7.30 pm – dinner

Saturday 28th March

7.30 am – refreshments, tea and coffee

8 am – dynamic morning yoga practice

10 am – brunch

Free time to relax, read, go for a walk in the 21 acres of gardens, woods, rivers and lakes, beaches and castle ruins

2 pm – a selection of drinks and snacks such as scones, biscuits and fruit available

Free time.

4 – 5 pm – yin yoga

5 – 6 pm – restorative yoga

7.30 pm – dinner

After dinner, weather permitting, we have the option of having a fire pit gathering outside

Sunday 8th March

7 30 am – refreshments, tea and coffee

8 am – Hatha yoga morning practice

10 am – brunch

12 pm – group silent meditation walk in the country

2 pm – lunch

3.30 pm – goodbyes and departure

If you love food as much as you love yoga, you’re definitely in the right place.

Exceptional yoga commands exceptional food and we are privileged to have Mimi as our uniquely creative and talented chef. She’s high vibrational and celebrates the idea of seasonal produce and ‘real’ food whenever possible. From her Anglo-Indian roots to her love of plant based food, she ensures that her personalised approach to preparing and cooking food is healing to body, mind and soul.

All meals are meticulously planned and cooked from base ingredients. The attention to detail is a true love for her art. Mimi’s delicious meals are mainly plant based and always gluten free. This is because Mimi seeks to nourish, cleanse and revitalise the diversity of the gut microbiome, which ultimately promotes optimum health.

Mimi has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share (more than a chef she’s also a sound healer and high vibrational plant advocate) so you’ll find her front of house whenever possible. All her dishes are beautifully presented and photo ready.

One last word, if you’ve never eaten in this way before don’t worry. There’s an option for bread, eggs and dairy. When booking just click on your preference and Mimi will take care of the rest.
