Commis Chef Requirements:

• Able to learn quickly
• Ideally experience as a Commis chef or junior chef looking for a new opportunity
• Numerate
• Organised and methodical
• Very well presented
• Polite and friendly with excellent communication skills
• Have a flexible and adaptable attitude and be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
• Special interest in working with seasonal, sustainable ingredients

A love of food and cooking, as well as a proactive and highly organised approach to work

Pay: National Living Wage

Hours: 30 hours a week

Shifts: Day time straight shifts with some evenings and weekends – no split shifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To assist in the day to day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
• To maintain food standards and quality procedures set out in the food manual
• To keep records of quantity procedures, fridge temperatures, cooking temperatures and delivery checks
• Any other kitchen duties as and when required.
• Strict adherence to company health and safety policies and procedures
